Maggie Atkinson Consulting Ltd
Excellence - its creation, and ensuring it is sustained in changing times - always relies on the will, and the commitment, of the people within an organisation. The entire workforce needs to see its place in helping leaders and managers to analyse the need for, then h to devise, own, implement and embed positive change. Trying to make such change "stick" if the people who need to implement it have not been engaged and do not own it, wastes time and resources. The bigger the change, the more the people who will carry it need to be at its centre.
Organisations need an engaging, relevant workforce strategy. It both reminds all concerned why their work matters, and outlines what their roles are in ensuring wider aims and aspirations will bear fruit. It sets out the principles through which everybody can work with others.to achieve such success. A good strategy enables change to be well planned, implemented, monitored and evaluated.
Workforce development strategies may be based on these headlines only, in which case Maggie works with the client solely to frame the strategy. There is usually, however, further work to do: setting out shared approaches, analysing skills and development needs, framing common training requirements and staff development programmes to help organisations and staff, whilst supporting them to embrace both continuity and change.
Maggie is expert in these issues. She would be delighted to help you and your teams to devise your strategy, and to support your and your partners' workforce development strategies. Please use the contact form below to leave your request.
